Job summary

ALTRAIZE in India seeks a senior BI leader to design and deliver dashboards using Tableau and Power BI, while guiding data governance and architecture. You will partner with stakeholders, optimize performance, and mentor junior developers.

The role requires deep expertise in SQL, data modeling, and cloud data platforms, with a focus on scalable, secure reporting solutions across Snowflake, Databricks, and Synapse ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in BI and data visualization.
• Proficient with Tableau Desktop/Server and Power BI.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling, ETL, and data warehouse design.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift or Synapse.
• Ability to analyze complex data and present insights visually.
• Knowledge of Tableau performance tuning and LOD expressions.
• Power BI DAX, Power Query, and workspace management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

Must to have:

• 10+ years of total experience in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization.
• Strong hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Power BI.
• Expertise in SQL and strong understanding of data modeling, ETL concepts, and data warehouse design.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, GCP BigQuery, AWS Redshift, or Azure Synapse).
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and present insights in a clear, visual manner.
• Knowledge of performance tuning, parameters, calculations, and LOD expressions in Tableau.
• Experience in Power BI DAX, Power Query, and workspace management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have:

• Tableau and/or Power BI certification (Desktop Specialist, Data Analyst, etc.)
• Experience with Python / R for data visualization or analytics integration.
• Exposure to Agile methodology and version control tools like Git.
