We are seeking a skilled Tableau Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive business intelligence dashboards that transform complex data into meaningful insights. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Tableau, SQL, data visualization, and business analytics, with the ability to create scalable reporting solutions that support data-driven decision-making.

As a Tableau Developer, you will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements, analyze datasets, and build visually compelling dashboards. You will also optimize dashboard performance, ensure data accuracy, and contribute to enterprise reporting and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Dashboard Development & Reporting
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards, reports, and scorecards.

• Build reusable Tableau workbooks, templates, and visualization components.
• Develop executive dashboards with meaningful KPIs, trends, and performance metrics.

Data Analysis & SQL Development

• Write optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Perform complex data analysis using JOINs, GROUP BY, subqueries, window functions, and aggregate functions.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency before reporting.
• Analyze business data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
• Optimize SQL queries to improve reporting efficiency and performance.

Data Integration & Modeling

• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate data from multiple databases and enterprise systems.
• Support ETL processes and data transformation workflows.
• Develop and maintain data models for reporting and analytics.
• Ensure proper data governance and reporting standards.
• Work with structured and semi-structured datasets across enterprise environments.

Performance Optimization

• Optimize Tableau dashboards for speed, scalability, and performance.
• Improve dashboard loading times through efficient query design and data modeling.
• Monitor dashboard usage and recommend enhancements.
• Troubleshoot reporting issues and resolve data discrepancies.
• Maintain high availability and reliability of reporting solutions.

Collaboration & Business Support

• Work closely with business users, analysts, and stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
• Translate business needs into effective data visualization solutions.
• Participate in Agile planning sessions and reporting enhancement initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, dashboard specifications, and reporting standards.
• Support user training and knowledge-sharing activities.
