Overview

Tableau Developers oversee creating and developing Tableau Dashboards based on application requirements and business process expectations. They are regarded as the experts in communicating with business stakeholders, gathering needs, and developing efficient BI solutions and analytics dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Recognize business requirements and devise a solution to meet data requirements.
• Collaborate with IT teams and business experts to implement data-driven policies and initiatives throughout the enterprise.
• Create, update, and maintain Tableau dashboards and analytics.
• Gather, clean, and prepare data for analytics and visualization.
• Manage and use the Tableau platform to gain valuable insights.
• Create reports using graphical and data modelling techniques.
• Create new KPIs and monitor them consistently in datasets.
• Gathering and normalizing data from multiple data sources.
• Create, test, and publish dashboards and reports, and schedule refreshes.
• Define access controls and implement security measures as needed.
• Accurately drill into data and generate reports.
• Design wireframes and beta dashboards with emphasis on user experience, consistency, and visibility.
• Enhance data management, collection, dashboard design, and product lifecycle management.
• Use algorithms and statistical approaches to extract information from data.
