Codemonk is seeking a proactive Technical Recruiter to source and place top tech talent in software development, QA, data engineering, cloud, and DevOps across contract-to-hire engagements.

You will coordinate interviews, negotiate offers, and manage multiple open requisitions while maintaining candidate experience and strong stakeholder relations in a fast-paced Bengaluru tech ecosystem.

About the role:

• You will source, screen, and place technical talent across software development, quality assurance, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and related IT specialisations.
• You will manage Contract-to-Hire placements from candidate identification through final placement and transition to permanent roles.
• You will coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring teams, handling scheduling, feedback collection, and timeline management.
• You will negotiate offer terms and compensation with both candidates and clients to close placements.
• You will track and nurture multiple open requisitions and candidate pipelines concurrently.

What we're looking for:

• Proven background in technical recruitment or IT staffing, with direct hiring experience across development, QA, data, and DevOps functions.
• Expertise in Contract-to-Hire recruitment models and ability to manage the full lifecycle from initial sourcing to permanent placement.
• Skill in identifying and assessing technical competencies relevant to software engineering and infrastructure roles.
• Proficiency in sourcing candidates through multiple channels including direct outreach, job boards, and professional networks.
• Ability to screen technical backgrounds effectively and match skills to role requirements.
• Confidence communicating with both candidates and hiring managers, addressing concerns and building relationships.
• Competence in follow-up activities, negotiation, and keeping stakeholders aligned throughout the hiring process.
• Capacity to juggle several concurrent placements and open roles without losing attention to deadlines or candidate experience.
• Organised approach to tracking candidates, requirements, communications, and timelines.

Bonus qualifications:

• Background working in high-volume or fast-paced recruitment settings.
• Familiarity with Naukri and LinkedIn as sourcing platforms.
• Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) or recruitment CRM tools.
• Experience with recruitment tracking software and candidate management platforms.
• Awareness of current IT hiring market dynamics and popular technology stacks in software development.
