Job summary

Aptiv in Chennai, India is seeking a Recruiter to manage the full-cycle recruitment process. The role involves sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding, with a focus on building strong talent pipelines and delivering a positive candidate experience.

You will collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners, using data to optimize strategies and ensure DEIA principles are embedded across all recruiting activities. This is a contractual position based in Chennai.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of end-to-end recruitment experience.
• Experience in Automotive/IT/Engineering/Semiconductor domains.
• Proficient with ATS and recruitment technologies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• DEIA principles integrated into recruitment processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process from posting to onboarding.
• Source candidates via job boards, social media, networks, and direct outreach.
• Screen and assess candidates for qualifications and culture fit.
• Conduct interviews and provide hiring recommendations.
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future roles.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience with timely feedback and communication.

Position Overview:

As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the dynamic needs of our organization. You will work closely with hiring managers and HR partners to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies. Your role will involve managing the full-cycle recruitment process, building strong talent pipelines, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Please note: This is a contractual position, and the location will be Chennai, India.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting and sourcing to interviewing and onboarding
• Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct outreach
• Screen and assess candidates to ensure they meet the qualifications and fit the organizational culture
• Conduct interviews and provide recommendations to hiring managers based on thorough evaluations
• Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future hiring needs
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process by providing timely feedback and communication
• Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-informed decisions
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruitment to continuously improve the hiring process
• Embed Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access (DEIA) principles in all recruitment activities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment for 3 to 6 years.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and sourcing techniques for Automotive/IT/Engineering/Semiconductor Domain.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and hiring managers
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics and make data-informed decisions
• Experience with DEIA principles and the ability to incorporate them into the recruitment process
• High level of integrity and professionalism, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
