NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS in Bengaluru, India is seeking a G5 Windows Server Administrator (Intermediate L1 / Junior L2) to provide advanced first-level troubleshooting across Windows servers, AD, and core infrastructure services.

The role focuses on operating system issues, AD management, DNS/DHCP, patching cycles, RDP problems, PowerShell checks, and mentoring junior staff while maintaining system health and security.

Qualifications

• 13 years Windows Admin/NOC experience.
• Good understanding of AD, GPO basics, Windows services, and networking basics.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) basics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot OS-level issues: service dependencies failures, OS performance degradation, log analysis using Event Viewer.
• Perform user/group management in Active Directory.
• Manage access permissions using NTFS and share permissions.
• Troubleshoot DNS/DHCP issues at L1 depth.
• Support patching cycles (pre-checks, post-validation, failure reporting).
• Coordinate with backup teams for restore requests (files/folders).
• Troubleshoot RDP issues, login failures, profile corruption.
• Perform basic PowerShell commands for routine checks (non-destructive).
• Mentor and guide G4 resources in ticket handling and troubleshooting quality.

Key Responsibilities
