NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS in Bengaluru, India, seeks a Systems Administration Senior Associate - Hypervisor to join our team. This role focuses on advanced troubleshooting of VMware and Hyper-V environments, VM lifecycle tasks, and ongoing operational maintenance.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with storage teams, and support patch cycles while ensuring high availability and optimal performance across VMs and hosts.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in virtualization/NOC environments.
• Strong understanding of vSphere and Hyper-V architecture.
• Familiarity with virtual networking concepts and VM management tools.
• Basic scripting in PowerShell/PowerCLI; ESXCLI proficiency.
• Experience with HA/DRS, templates, snapshots and virtual switches.
• VCP-DCV Associate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot VM-related issues including performance, snapshots, and NIC connectivity.
• Manage VM lifecycle: provisioning/deprovisioning, hardware changes, templates.
• Perform datastore analysis: space usage and Thin provisioning monitoring.
• Respond to ESXi/Hyper-V host warnings and patch/upgrade activities.
• Coordinate with storage teams for host/datastore issues and assist in vCenter/Cluster management.
• Support vMotion/Live Migration, ensure smooth operations, mentor junior staff.

We are currently seeking a Systems Administration Senior Associate - Hypervisor to join our team in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

G5 - Hypervisor Administrator (Intermediate L1 / Junior L2)

Role Summary

G5 engineers perform more advanced troubleshooting on VMware and Hyper-V environments, manage VM configuration tasks, and assist with operational maintenance and patch cycles.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot VM-related issues:
  • Performance degradation (CPU Ready, Memory Ballooning, Storage Latency)
  • VM snapshot growth
  • Virtual NIC configuration and connectivity issues
• Manage VM lifecycle operations:
  • VM provisioning/deprovisioning (as per SOP)
  • VM hardware modifications
  • Clone/Template deployment support
• Perform datastore-level analysis:
  • Space utilization
  • Thin-provision monitoring
  • Datastore alerts and pathing checks
• Troubleshoot ESXi/Hyper-V host warnings alerts.
• Validate and support patching and upgrades (ESXi/Hyper-V).
• Coordinate with storage teams for host/datastore-related issues.
• Assist in vCenter/Cluster object management and permissions.
• Troubleshoot vMotion/Live Migration failures.
• Mentor G4 engineers and review ticket quality.

Skills Required

• 2 3 yearsexperience in virtualization/NOC roles.
• Strong understanding of vSphere, Hyper-V host architecture, and virtual networking.
• Basic command-line knowledge:
