Job summary

Procain Consulting & Services is seeking a skilled Windows System Administrator in Bangalore. The role requires hands-on management of Windows Server environments, VMware ESXi/vCenter, SCCM, and Azure AD/IAM, with ITIL-aligned processes and strong scripting skills.

You will handle server installations, patches, imaging, and day-to-day infrastructure tasks, including Office 365 administration, backup/DR, and network services. Rotational shifts support global IT operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience managing Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
• Strong troubleshooting, system maintenance, virtualization, and ITIL adherence.
• Experience with VMware ESXi/vCenter, SCCM, Azure AD/IAM, and Office 365.
• Familiarity with FTP/SFTP, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking basics.
• PowerShell scripting exposure; ability to automate common tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) and upstream support.
• Install, upgrade, configure servers and provide ongoing support.
• Troubleshoot VMware ESXi/vCenter virtualization platforms.
• Operate SCCM for software deployment, patching, imaging.
• Administer Azure AD/IAM, onboarding, MFA, policy management.
• Configure and troubleshoot FTP/SFTP services.
• Support DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP networking components daily.
• Develop or modify PowerShell scripts for automation.
• Handle Office 365 administration tasks (users, groups, licenses).
• Contribute to Backup and Disaster Recovery processes.
• Follow ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management.
• Document infrastructure, SOPs, and reports; collaborate across teams.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Windows System Administrator with hands-on experience in managing Windows Server environments and supporting core infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate should be strong in troubleshooting, system maintenance, virtualization, and adherence to ITIL processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and administer Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
• Perform server installations, upgrades, configuration, and ongoing support.
• Manage and troubleshoot VMware ESXi and vCenter virtualization platforms.
• Handle SCCM operations including software deployment, patching, and imaging.
• Perform Azure AD / IAM user administration such as onboarding, MFA setup, and policy management.
• Configure and troubleshoot FTP/SFTP services.
