Job summary

Jobtailor in Bengaluru, India seeks a senior Quality Engineering leader to design and drive test strategies for cloud-native, microservices-based systems. You will architect scalable test platforms, translate requirements into executable plans, and lead end-to-end validation across subsystems.

You will mentor teams, champion automation and AI-assisted testing, collaborate with product and engineering, and address critical customer escalations in an agile setting.

Qualifications

Engineering degree required.
12+ years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, and test automation.
Strong expertise in test architecture for cloud-native, microservices-based, highly scalable distributed systems.
Proficiency in Python, Go, and/or C++ for automation development.
Hands-on experience in Linux environments.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Envoy, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps toolchains.
Experience designing, implementing, and executing test strategies for scalable, resilient systems.
Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
Solid understanding of database testing, observability frameworks, monitoring systems, and telemetry-driven validation practices.
Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
Ability to deliver high-quality outcomes in fast-paced agile environments.
Hands-on experience leveraging Agentic AI and AI-assisted engineering tools.
Nice to have: NMS/EMS testing, interoperability and observability testing, databases, gRPC-based services, APIs, open-source integrations.
Nice to have: Core Network Signaling domain, including 4G/5G mobile core networks.

Requirements
