Job summary

Jobtailor in Bengaluru, India is seeking a senior Quality Engineering and Test Automation leader to own end-to-end QA strategies for cloud-native Core Management System components. You will architect scalable automation, drive AI-assisted validation, and mentor a team in a SAFe agile setting.

Responsibilities include shaping CI/CD quality gates, collaborating across product and operations, and ensuring high availability and performance of data pipelines and microservices.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in test automation, quality engineering, and validation of cloud-native applications.
• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Microservices, and Distributed Systems.
• Expertise designing scalable test automation frameworks for functional, integration, system, API, performance, reliability, and end-to-end testing.
• Hands-on validation of large-scale data ingestion, ETL, streaming, and event-driven systems using Kafka, ClickHouse, VictoriaMetrics, and MariaDB.
• Strong knowledge of observability and telemetry platforms, including OpenTelemetry, OTLP, PromQL/VMQL, metrics, logs, traces, and monitoring workflows.
• Understanding of Telecom Network Management, SNMP, 3GPP standards, and Network Function monitoring.
• Ability to validate fault, performance, configuration, and operational workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, test automation pipelines, containerised deployments, and quality gates using Jenkins, Helm, and Kubernetes is nice to have.
• Experience with scalability, performance, resiliency, reliability, failover, and high-availability validation is nice to have.
• Prior Scrum Master experience preferred.

Requirements

• Engineering Degree


• 8+ years of experience in test automation, quality engineering, and validation of cloud-native applications


• Experience with Kubernetes, OpenShift, Microservices, and Distributed Systems
