Job summary

Opt IT is seeking an L1 System Engineer to provide first-level IT support, monitor infrastructure, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You will troubleshoot issues, manage user accounts, and document resolutions in the ticketing system.

The role requires 3–5 years of IT support experience, strong Windows and basic Linux knowledge, plus familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft 365. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–5 years in system or IT support.
• Knowledge of Windows, basic Linux, networking concepts.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, antivirus and ticketing tools.
• Good troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1 support for desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and network connectivity.
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows systems and basic Linux environments.
• Monitor system alerts, backups, antivirus, and network health.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, user-access, and connectivity issues.
