Job summary

Gravia Technologies in India seeks an experienced L2 Desktop Engineer to provide advanced technical support for desktops, laptops, operating systems, and end-user applications.

You will handle escalated issues from L1, troubleshoot complex problems, and ensure smooth IT operations for users, including remote support and VIP users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/Computer Science.
• 5+ years in desktop support or IT service desk.
• Solid knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office and business apps.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange and remote support tools.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP basics.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Capable of handling multiple priorities under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated desktop, laptop, printer and peripheral issues.
• Support VIP users and ensure smooth IT operations.
• Run OEM diagnostics and replace parts in laptops/desktops as needed.
• Install, configure and maintain operating systems and applications.
• Assist end-users with hardware and software problems onsite and remotely.
• Perform system upgrades, patches and preventive maintenance.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and access rights.
• Document issues and solutions in the ticketing system.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security guidelines.

• Supported VIP users
