Job summary

Celstream Technologies seeks a hands-on IT support professional in Bengaluru to troubleshoot Linux, Mac OS, Windows OS, and related applications. The role covers desktop/laptop issues, Level 2 networking (LAN/WAN, routing, Wi‑Fi), and installation/configuration tasks across multiple operating systems.

The ideal candidate has strong fundamentals in Linux/Mac OS, DNS/NTP/FTP/SFTP, and basic networking, enabling effective incident resolution and end-user assistance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Fundamental knowledge of Linux/Apple Mac OS installation and configuration.
• DNS, NTP, FTP/SFTP, Windows updates, application installation, partition configuration.
• Understanding of Unix/Linux file systems.
• Basic Level 1 networking: Ethernet, DHCP, Subnet, IP Routing, Switching.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot Linux, Mac OS, Windows OS and applications.
• Troubleshoot desktop and laptop hardware/software issues.
• Resolve Level 2 networking problems including LAN/WAN, routing and Wi-Fi.
• Install, configure and troubleshoot Linux, Mac OS and Windows OS and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting the technical issues on Linux, Apple MAC, Windows OS and Windows Applications.
• Troubleshooting technical issues on Desktop and Laptops systems.
• Troubleshooting Level 2 Networking issues (Lan, Wan, Switching, Routing, WI-FI)
• Installation, Configuration and Troubleshooting of Linux, Apple Mac OS & Windows OS and its Applications.

Mandatory skills

• Need to have a good knowledge on fundamental of Linux/Apple Mac Operating system. (Installation, Configuration of various version of OS and Applications).
• Also need to have knowledge on various services like DNS, NTP, FTP, SFTP, Windows updates, Application Installation, partition configuration etc.
• Need to know the different Unix/Linux file system.
• Should know Level 1 networking knowledge like, Ethernet, DHCP, Subnet. IP Routing, Switching and Routing
