Job Title: Systems Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Job Scope

Systems Engineer is responsible for the installation, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting of our products at customer environments. The role works closely with the Systems, IT, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure successful implementation, seamless onboarding, and ongoing operational support for customers.

The role requires strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, the ability to understand customer requirements, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to resolve technical issues and deliver reliable solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot our products in customer environments.
• Work on .NET-based application deployments and possess a good understanding of the .NET framework and IIS.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain Windows/Linux servers, application software, and system management tools.
• Monitor application performance, identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with Engineering teams for resolution.
• Support application security, backup, and system availability initiatives.
• Collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Proactively investigate and troubleshoot issues impacting application performance and deliverability.
• Generate reports related to application health, system performance, and deliverability.
• Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely customer onboarding and successful deployments.
• Participate in customer meetings to understand technical requirements and assist in solution implementation.
• Conduct product demonstrations, Proof of Concepts (POCs), and customer training sessions when required.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, implementation plans, and operational procedures.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend preventive measures.
• Tem handling experiences Onsite and Remote (Team size more than 4).
• Provide technical support during escalations and ensure timely resolution.
• Travel to customer locations (local or outstation) whenever required for deployments, troubleshooting, or technical discussions.
• Adhere to organizational policies, security standards, and operational processes.

Qualifications & Experience

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, or related disciplines.
• 35 years of relevant experience in application deployment, system administration, or technical support roles.

Knowledge & Skills

• Good understanding of .NET applications and IIS administration.
• Experience in deploying and supporting Windows/Linux-based applications.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, IIS configuration, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with Linux OS, nginx, should worked on managing Software based load balancers.
• Should be knowledgeable on the Queueing systems like Redis, NATS, MSMQ, RabbitMQ.
• Good understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, Routing, and QoS.
• Knowledge of security protocols and encryption technologies such as SSL/TLS, SSH, and PGP.
• Working knowledge of databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or similar, including SQL queries, functions, stored procedures, and basic database administration.
• Basic scripting knowledge using Shell, Python, Perl, or similar scripting languages.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and business stakeholders.
• Good presentation and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Exposure to additional technologies and cloud platforms will be an added advantage.
