• Must have an expert level understanding and proficiency in Windows Server Administration including Active Directory and Exchange.
• Must be familiar with Networking.
• Position requires attention to detail and creativity.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks on multiple projects with multiple people is a must.

Qualifications

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Maintain system standards.
• Monitor the system daily and identify any possible intrusions. Install new and rebuild existing servers.
• Define network policies, procedures and establish connections & firewalls.
• Back up all file systems and system data to the appropriate media.
• Protect organization by keeping information confidential.
• Recommend the implementation of new products and meet financial requirements by monitoring expenses and submitting budgets.
• Repair/Configure computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals as needed. Identify unresolved hardware and software problems for resolution. Order spare parts or maintenance kits as needed.
• Keep documentation of hardware, maintenance, and upgrade or replace hardware and software as needed.
• Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
• Maintain yearly licenses for current software.
• Perform other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor or management.
• Intermediate Linux/Unix skills with exposure to open source technologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Document the process and procedures to align the IT organization towards standards.
