Job summary

Marutee is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to provide design and manufacturing support. This role focuses on sheet metal design and includes creating part and assembly drawings, coordinating with manufacturing teams, and applying GD&T standards.

The ideal candidate should have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and 2-3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing settings. Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Creo is essential.

Role Overview

The role is support-oriented with focus on sheet metal design, par and assembly drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing/assembly coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Support mechanical design activities under guidance from lead engineers
• Independently execute assigned sheet metal design tasks with review and validation from lead engineers
• Create and maintain manufacturing-ready part and assembly drawingsPrepare and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Apply GD&T on drawings to ensure functionality and manufacturability
• Coordinate with assembly and manufacturing teams
• Support engineering changes and documentation updates
