Job summary

WAE India is seeking a Design Engineer with at least 2 years of SolidWorks experience for sheet metal design and AutoCAD drafting. You will create 3D models, develop 2D drawings, and collaborate with manufacturing to ensure production readiness.

The role emphasizes design calculations, tolerance analysis, BOM preparation, and supporting prototyping. A diploma or bachelor's in mechanical engineering is preferred, with strong communication and detail orientation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing processes
• Understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis
• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
