Job summary

Technosoft Engineering in Thane is seeking a skilled mechanical design engineer to join our product development team. You will collaborate with cross-functional groups to translate requirements into robust, manufacturable designs and detailed drawings.

You should have a solid foundation in engineering mechanics, strengths of materials, machine design, GD&T, and experience with SolidWorks. The role also involves tooling, fixtures, and hands-on prototyping support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering knowledge in mechanics and design.
• Experience in sheet metal or machinery design is preferred.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements.
• Develop design concepts and produce detailed engineering drawings.
• Ensure designs meet manufacturability, durability, cost, and performance criteria.
• Lead and participate in design reviews to resolve technical challenges.
• Apply knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and industrial standards (ANSI, JIS, DIN, etc.).
• Contribute to tooling, fixture, and jig design (preferred).
• Support manufacturing, production, and assembly processes (preferred).
• Provide hands-on support in prototyping and testing when required.
