Job summary

Chaitanya Projects Consultancy seeks an experienced Civil Engineer for surveying and design of railway track corridors in Bengaluru. The role focuses on surveying, mapping optimal track paths, and setting precise centerlines during construction to ensure safe and efficient alignment.

You will capture terrain data, crossings, and obstacles, and mark locations for bridges, tunnels, and stations, while regularly inspecting existing tracks for settlement or alignment shifts.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with significant field survey experience.
• Railway/rail track survey and alignment experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Survey and map the optimal horizontal and vertical paths for new tracks.
• Capture terrain data, river crossings, and obstacles along the corridor.
• Set precise centerlines, curves, gradients, and turnouts during construction.
• Mark accurate locations for bridges, tunnels, stations, and overhead masts.
• Inspect existing tracks and structures regularly for settlement or alignment shifts.
