Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Limited in India is seeking Engineer / Junior Engineer – Survey to perform field surveys, setting out, and alignment control for infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering with at least one project surveying experience. You will operate Total Station and Auto Level, maintain records, and ensure quality and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 1 project experience in construction surveying, preferably in infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Carry out topographical, layout, and alignment surveys for project execution.
• Perform setting out of structures, including piers, segments, and alignment control.
• Operate Total Station, Auto Level, and survey software; ensure accuracy in line, level, and coordinates during all stages of construction.
• Support launching and erection activities with precise survey inputs.
• Conduct as-built surveys and maintain proper records.
• Coordinate with design and site teams to ensure correct implementation of drawings.
• Monitor tolerances and geometric controls during execution.
• Maintain survey data, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

• Coordinate with design and site teams to ensure correct implementation of drawings
• Monitor and verify tolerances and geometric controls during execution
• Maintain survey data, reports, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
