Job summary

Qualifications

• MBBS degree from a recognized medical college.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Knowledge of infection control practices, patient safety protocols, and OT procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures and operations as required.
• Conduct pre-operative patient assessments and review medical histories, reports, and investigation results.
• Monitor patients vital signs and overall clinical condition before and after surgery.
• Assist in patient preparation, positioning, and surgical site preparation.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OT technicians, and nursing staff to ensure smooth surgical procedures.
• Ensure adherence to sterilization protocols, infection control measures, and OT safety standards.
• Provide post-operative care and monitor patients recovery as directed by the treating team.
• Maintain accurate patient records, surgical notes, and other medical documentation.
• Ensure the availability and readiness of surgical instruments, equipment, and essential medical supplies.
• Assist in emergency situations and support timely patient management within the scope of clinical responsibilities.
• Coordinate patient transfers between wards, the Operation Theatre, ICU, and recovery room.
• Follow hospital policies, clinical protocols, patient confidentiality requirements, and medical ethics.
