Job summary

Bhagwati Pharmacy Jaipur seeks an experienced OT Manager to oversee daily operation theatre activities, ensure patient safety, and manage OT staff and equipment in a NABH-aligned hospital.

You will coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and CSSD, monitor schedules, inventory, sterilization, and documentation to drive efficiency and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. Nursing or an equivalent healthcare qualification as per hospital requirements.
• Experience in OT operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily OT operations and surgical scheduling.
• Ensure readiness of instruments, equipment, medicines, and consumables.
• Uphold patient safety protocols and surgical checklists.
• Monitor infection control, sterilization, and waste management.
• Prepare duty rosters and train OT staff.
• Maintain OT records and audit reports per SOPs and NABH standards.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and departments.
• Improve OT utilization and address delays or cancellations.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced OT Manager to oversee daily operation theatre activities, ensure patient safety, manage OT staff and equipment, and maintain compliance with hospital protocols and NABH standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily OT operations, surgical schedules, and emergency procedures.
• Ensure timely OT preparation and availability of surgical instruments, equipment, medicines, and consumables.
• Ensure compliance with patient safety protocols, surgical checklists, consent forms, and patient handover procedures.
• Monitor infection control, sterilization, OT cleaning, and biomedical waste management.
• Prepare staff duty rosters, manage staffing requirements, and conduct regular training.
• Monitor OT equipment maintenance, inventory, stock levels, and expiry control.
• Maintain OT records, surgical documentation, and audit reports as per hospital SOPs and applicable NABH standards.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, ICU, wards, CSSD, pharmacy, and other departments.
• Monitor OT utilization, surgical delays, cancellations, and operational efficiency.
• Report incidents, implement corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement in patient care.

Qualification & Experience:

• B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / GNM or relevant healthcare qualification, as per hospital requirements.
• Relevant experience in OT operations, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals will be preferred.
