Aditya Birla Group is seeking a Staff in the Metals division to manage shift operations for power plant instrumentation and perform preventive maintenance on control systems and field instruments. The role includes updating safety documents and adhering to WCM 5S standards.

The candidate should have a Diploma in Electronics/Instrumentation and hands-on experience with Honeywell DCS, Rockwell PLC, and IIOT systems, with knowledge of ERP material management being a plus.

Competenze

• Diploma in Electronics/Instrumentation is required.
• Experience in power plant instrumentation maintenance is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP material management systems is beneficial.

Mansioni

• Oversee shift management of power plant instrumentation.
• Maintain Honeywell DCS, Rockwell PLC, IIOT systems and OPC interfaces.
• Calibrate and maintain field instruments (temp, pressure, flow, level) and record results.
• Support calibration of analysers and belt/weighing systems.
• Contribute to WCM 5S standards and RCAs/CAPAs for instrumentation issues.
• Prepare HIRA/JSA and assist in updating safety assessments.

Job Purpose

Job Purpose Description

1. 1. Shift management of Power plant instrumentation.
2. 2. Maintenance of Honeywell DCS, Rockwell PLC (Control logix & flex logix), IIOT system, OPC, Machine Vision camera, Belt monitoring system(Control logix & flex logix), Vibration monitoring system.
3. 3. Maintenance of Analysers (Stack Gas, Dust, CO, SO2, pH , Silica, Sodium , Conductivity, Chlorine, Turbidity, Vibration, Boiler Oxygen analysers).
4. 4. Maintenance of Coal weigh bridge & belt weigher system.
5. 5. Knowledge on turbine governing system (preferably Woodward).
6. 6. Well versed with computer software applications.
7. 7. Knowledge in Oracle ERP software for material management.
8. 8. PM, CBM & Calibration of all field instruments (Temperature, Pressure, Flow, level) and its record maintenance.
9. 9.Obtain validation of HIRA / JSAs and contribute to creation of new HIRA / JSA, when required.
10. 10. WCM standard practices up to 5’S level.
11. 11. RCA & CAPA for all field Instruments.

Required Qualification: Diploma in Electronics/Instrument.
