Job summary

Aditya Birla Group is seeking a Diploma holder in Electronics/Instrumentation to supervise and maintain power plant instrumentation, DCS/PLC systems, IIoT integration, and various analysers. The role includes calibration, PM activities, and adherence to HIRA/JSA and 5S standards.

The incumbent will manage belt weighers, CO/SO2/stack gas analysers, and turbine governing systems (Woodward preferred), ensuring safe and efficient plant operation.

Qualifications

• Shift management of power plant instrumentation.
• Maintenance of Honeywell DCS, Rockwell PLC (Control Logix & Flex LOGIX), IIoT system, OPC, Machine Vision camera, Belt monitoring system.
• Maintenance of Analysers (Stack Gas, Dust, CO, SO2, pH, Silica, Sodium, Conductivity, Chlorine, Turbidity, Vibration, Boiler Oxygen analysers).
• Maintenance of Coal weigh bridge & belt weigher system.
• Knowledge on turbine governing system (preferably Woodward).
• Well versed with computer software applications.
• Knowledge in Oracle ERP software for material management.
• PM, CBM & Calibration of all field instruments (Temperature, Pressure, Flow, level) and its record maintenance.
• Obtain validation of HIRA / JSAs and contribute to creation of new HIRA / JSA, when required.
• WCM standard practices up to 5’S level.
• RCA & CAPA for all field Instruments.

Responsibilities

• Shift management of power plant instrumentation.
• Maintain DCS/PLC and IIoT systems and associated instruments.
• Maintain analysers and coal weigh bridge/belt weighers.
• Ensure turbine governing systems are functional (Woodward preferred).
• Apply HIRA/JSA knowledge and contribute to updates.
• Record calibration and PM activities for field instruments.
• Implement RCA/CAPA for field instruments and drive continuous improvements.
• Follow WCM 5S standards in daily operations.
