Job summary

Micropoint Computers in Navi Mumbai seeks a junior IT support technician to provide basic hardware, software, and network assistance. You will troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, Wi-Fi, and other IT equipment to keep daily operations running smoothly.

You will install, configure, and update operating systems and applications, assist with onboarding new hires, maintain IT asset records, monitor support requests, and help with basic network troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, Wi-Fi, and other IT equipment.
• Install, configure, and update operating systems and software applications.
• Assist with setting up laptops, user accounts, email, and other IT services for new employees.
• Maintain IT asset and equipment records.
• Monitor and resolve support requests in a timely manner.
• Assist with basic network and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT team members.
• Follow IT security, backup, and data protection practices.
• Maintain basic documentation of troubleshooting procedures and solutions.
