Job summary

Dot & Key Skincare in Kolkata is seeking an execution-driven Assistant Manager – Supply Planning to lead end-to-end supply planning, optimize inventory levels, and ensure robust product availability across all channels.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience in supply planning, strong analytics, and cross-functional collaboration with procurement, manufacturing, and sales to drive data-based decisions in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate/Post Graduate in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Commerce, or related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, or S&OP, preferably in FMCG/Beauty & Personal Care/Consumer Goods/Retail/E-commerce.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supply planning for SKU-wise inventory across all sales channels, ensuring optimum stock availability and service levels.
• Develop and execute monthly and weekly supply plans by aligning demand forecasts, production schedules, procurement, and inventory requirements.
• Lead demand-supply balancing through regular S&OP discussions with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Warehouse teams.
• Monitor inventory health, stock cover, fill rates, and supply risks while driving corrective actions to prevent stock-outs and excess inventory.
• Coordinate with Procurement and Manufacturing teams to ensure timely material availability and production planning.
• Drive root cause analysis for supply disruptions, inventory variances, and forecast deviations, implementing process improvements for enhanced planning accuracy.
• Prepare MIS reports and dashboards on supply performance, inventory KPIs, and planning metrics for leadership reviews.

About the Role:

The role will drive supply planning, inventory optimization, cross-functional collaboration, and S&OP execution to support business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end supply planning for SKU-wise inventory across all sales channels, ensuring optimum stock availability and service levels.

• Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage cross-functional planning and drive data-based decision-making in a fast paced environment.

Experience Requirements:

• Graduate/Post Graduate in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Commerce, or a related discipline.
• 5–7 years of experience in Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Demand Planning, or S&OP, preferably in FMCG, Beauty & Personal Care, Consumer Goods, Retail, or E-commerce.
• Prior experience in managing SKU-level planning, inventory optimization, and cross-functional supply chain operations will be preferred.
