Job summary

Roquette Laisa España SA is seeking a Supply Planner in Mumbai to ensure accurate production scheduling and master data upkeep. You will balance customer service levels with resource use and control inventories to target levels.

You will work with planning and manufacturing to optimize the plant schedule, monitor KPIs, and resolve supply issues. Strong SAP/PPDS skills and 3–4 years in supply chain are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3–4 years experience in operations or supply chain.
• SAP, APO, MRP training in relevant areas.
• APICS Module I and Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Issue detailed production schedule utilizing SAP PPDS for planning horizon.
• Manage production details aligned with cost, rate, inventory and uptime.
• Assure schedule is maintained and communicated across the supply chain.
• Identify and resolve inventory, customer order and quality issues as they arise.
• Primary contact with customer service team.
• Monitor process orders and maintain data integrity.
• Interface between manufacturing and supply chain planning.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to optimize the plant schedule.
• Maintain SAP Master Data to support scheduling and ATP processes.
• Monitor KPIs: inventory, capacity, production to plan, delivery performance.
• Analyze demand during lead time and coordinate with sales/marketing.
• Determine SKU inventory levels, locations and safety stocks by customer/warehouse.
• Pull FINI material requirements into regional plans and manage shortages.
• Manage supply issues during times of short supply.

Job description

To meet our challenges, we are looking for a Supply Planner within the Planning team! This position will be located in Mumbai.

Their mission? Responsible to assure scheduling maintaining master data updated, support organization to balance desired level of customer service, making best use of resources and keep inventories at desired level.

Your experience and talents will make the difference to:

• Issue detailed production schedule utilizing SAP PPDS for planning horizon.
• Manage production details in line with business strategy (cost, rate, inventory and uptime).
• Assure schedule is continually maintained and communicated throughout the supply chain.
• Highlight and actively participate in the identification and resolution of inventory, customer order and quality issues as they develop.
• Primary point of contact with customer service team
• Monitoring process orders & assuring closed as needed, accurate process orders are used to maintain system & data integrity
• Primary interface between manufacturing and supply chain planning.
• Works with manufacturing to optimize the plant schedule along with manufacturing capabilities.
• Maintain SAP Master Data to support scheduling & ATP process
• Maintain & monitor key KPIs for assets (i.e. slow-moving & obsolete inventory, capacity loading, production to plan, inventory, delivery to promise, etc.
• Analyze demand during lead time (daily), identify abnormal demand patterns and verify causes with our sales/marketing team and demand.
• Determine the SKU inventory levels, locations, and safety stocks by customer/warehouse to support the desired level of customer service while maintaining cost effective levels of inventory
• Pull FINI material requirements into the region of sales based on local/regional demand plans and sales history.
• Manage supply issues during times of short supply
