Job summary

Whiz Foods Pvt. Ltd. (The Belgian Fries Co.) is seeking a Manager Supply Chain (Purchase + Logistics) to own procurement, supply planning and logistics for a 70+ outlet network across India.

You will be accountable for COGS, store fill rate and zero stock-outs on hero SKUs, from demand planning to goods receipt at the store. The role requires 8–14 years in procurement/supply chain within QSR, food retail or FMCG distribution, with strong Excel and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in planning and procurement for multi-outlet formats (QSR/food retail) is required.
• Proven ability to manage stock, lead times, and stock-outs.
• Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end procurement, supply planning and logistics for 70+ outlets across India.
• Set and monitor targets for COGS, store fill rate and zero stock-outs on hero SKUs.
• Lead demand planning, PO placement, and goods receipt at stores.

ABOUT US

The Belgian Fries Co. is a QSR brand with 70+ outlets across India — company-owned stores, cinema counters, JV and franchise locations.

THE ROLE

Own procurement, supply planning and logistics end to end for a 70+ outlet network across India. You are accountable for three numbers: COGS%, store fill rate, and zero stock-outs on hero SKUs. One head, full ownership — from demand planning and PO placement to goods receipt at the store.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Planning & Inventory

• Build and run demand planning: consumption-based indents, reorder points and safety stock set against actual vendor lead times
• Track every open PO to delivery; escalation delays before they become stock-outs, not after
• Monitor fill rate, stock-outs, wastage and shelf-life compliance; publish a weekly report

Purchase

• Own the vendor master — rates, credit terms, contracts, annual renegotiation
• Benchmark and negotiate top SKUs; deliver measurable COGS reduction
• Onboard and audit vendors on quality, FSSAI compliance and documentation

Logistics

• Manage indent-to-delivery flow across all formats and cities
• Coordinate warehouse, distributors and last-mile partners; own delivery TAT
• Support new store openings with equipment and opening-inventory procurement

Team

• Manage a Purchase Executive; build a second line — this role delegates, it does not absorb

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 8–14 years in procurement/supply chain in QSR, food retail or FMCG distribution with multiple SKUs managed together
• Demonstrated planning ownership — you have set reorder points, managed lead times and been accountable for stock-outs, not just negotiated rates
• Rate negotiation and vendor contracting at multi-outlet scale
• Food category knowledge — frozen, dairy, packaging, oils
• Strong Excel; ERP/inventory system experience (will be tested)
• FSSAI and food safety documentation literacy
