Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting for a senior procurement leader in Bengaluru to shape sourcing strategy across raw materials for foods and staples. You will lead cross-functional teams, optimize supplier performance, and align procurement with business goals within a fast-moving food services environment.

The role requires extensive experience in procurement leadership, supplier negotiations, and ERP-driven supply chain optimization, with a strong focus on cost, quality and continuity of supply.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in procurement, particularly raw materials for foods & staples.
• Strong leadership experience overseeing multiple stakeholders at senior level.
• Proven ability to drive cost savings, supplier performance and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, service levels and supplier performance.
• Manage strategic supplier partnerships, negotiations, and vendor governance to drive value and continuity of supply.
• Oversee demand planning, inventory optimization, warehousing, logistics and distribution for efficient operations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Production, Quality and Sales to align procurement with business needs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, statutory and procurement standards while driving process excellence.
