Job summary

Triveni Turbines in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Procurement Professional to manage sourcing and supply chain activities for steam turbine components, auxiliaries, and engineered bought-out equipment, spanning factory and site procurement.

You will lead end-to-end procurement, develop sourcing strategies, negotiate techno-commercial terms, and drive supplier performance and cost optimization to ensure on-time delivery and stakeholder alignment.

Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end procurement of mechanical bought-out components/ electrical bought-out components, engineered packages, auxiliary systems, and project equipment to ensure cost competitiveness, quality compliance, and on-time availability in line with business requirements.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies by leveraging supplier relationships, alternate sourcing, localization, value engineering, and commercial negotiations to achieve cost optimization and supply chain resilience.
• Partner with Engineering, Projects, Manufacturing, Planning, Quality, and Finance teams to ensure seamless execution of procurement activities, timely resolution of technical and commercial issues, and adherence to project and production schedules.
• Lead supplier performance management across quality, delivery, capacity, responsiveness, and compliance parameters while driving continuous improvement initiatives and long-term strategic partnerships.
• Monitor market trends, commodity movements, and industry developments to proactively identify opportunities for cost reduction, risk mitigation, contract optimization, and sustainable value creation.
• Ensure effective order execution, expediting, inspection coordination, documentation management, and ERP compliance to achieve high service levels and customer satisfaction.
• Drive operational excellence through data-driven decision-making, inventory optimization, governance adherence, and continuous improvement of procurement processes and supply chain performance.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Professional to manage sourcing and supply chain activities for Steam Turbine components, auxiliaries, and engineered bought-out equipment. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end procurement activities, including sourcing strategy, supplier development, techno-commercial negotiations, order execution, cost optimization, and stakeholder management.

• Exposure to procurement of mechanical bought-out components, electrical bough out components and auxiliary systems.
• Experience in supplier development and strategic sourcing preferred.
