Job summary

JAS EPC Projects is seeking a substation engineer in Karnataka to lead the design, development, and commissioning of substations. You will conduct site visits, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution and testing of substations.

The candidate should have 4-6 years of experience in substation engineering, with a Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical or a related discipline, and strong knowledge of high voltage systems including 132kV/220kV

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement substation projects from conceptualization to commissioning.
• Conduct site visits to inspect substations, identify issues, and troubleshoot problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project execution, testing, and commissioning of substations.
• Ensure compliance with IEC/IS standards and company policies during design and implementation phases.
• Provide technical support for power distribution systems, including switchyards and transmission lines.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems; substation equipment such as transformers, switchgear panels etc. .


• Experience working on high voltage applications like 132kV/220kV.
