A bachelor’s degree in electrical & electronics engineering is a must. Having between 5 to 12 years of experience in 132kV and above substation. Familiarity with the following work is required.
Protection Engineer for Substation who has experience in the following works:
- Review and modification of schematic diagrams provided in Substation:
- GIS/AIS Local Control Cabinet (LCC)
- Control & Protection Panel
- Tariff Metering Panel
- Telecommunication System
- Fault Recorder
- Others which are required to interface with CRP, SCS, and Telecom
- Signal Lists
- IO Mapping List and Data Display for LDC (NCC)
- Site Test Procedure and Site Test Form
- Preparation for design and calculation for the below:
- Key Single Line Diagram
- Protection Single Line Diagram
- (Fixed/Variable) Relay Setting Calculation
- Coordination work with other disciplines related to protection and SCS
Added Advantage:
- Experience with DEWA, FEWA, Transco, Saudi Electricity company (SEC), KAHRAMAA, OETC
- Experience with site test and defective list clearing at site
- Experience with relay logic modification
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from an accredited university or college
- Willing to travel to Project Site
