Responsibilities

• Material and coating selection with heat-treatment and surface processes.
• Pneumatics expertise across valve kits, proportional valves, and safety-related circuits.
• Recommend alternate solutions balancing technical requirements, cost and timelines.
• Enhance technical documentation to improve safety compliance and knowledge retention.
• Interpret large AutoCAD assembly drawings to reduce design errors and improve project execution.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering SME with 10-15 years of experience in SPM design validation, preferably in the automative or tyre manufacturing industry. The role involves reviewing mechanical designs, assembly drawings, materials and coatings selections, pneumatic systems, and manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with engineering specifications.

The Ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in SPM design validation, manufacturing processes, and pneumatic systems to improve design quality, safety, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Material & Coating Selection: Strong knowledge in material selection considering Heat treatment request, surface treatment processes. Manufacturing Process Knowledge more on machining, sheet metal related process, welding.
• Pneumatics– Advanced knowledge in Pneumatics like Valve Kit across difference makes, Proportional valves, Safety Related circuit Design.
• Multiple & Alternate solution - recommending alternative solutions that balance technical requirements, cost, and project timelines, ensuring optimal outcomes.
• Technical Documentation - Enhances the team's ability to develop comprehensive machine-critical documentation, improving safety compliance, reducing setup errors, and supporting knowledge retention across projects.
• Large AutoCAD Assembly Drawing Interpretation - Strengthens the team's ability to analyze complex assembly drawings and provide technical guidance, reducing design errors and improving project execution efficiency.
