Job summary

Worldify Overseas is seeking a proactive study-abroad counsellor to guide students in shortlisting programs and universities based on eligibility and career goals. You will provide in-depth information via phone, email, chat, and social media, assist with online and paper applications, and follow up with universities, students, and sponsors.

The role requires strong English/Hindi communication and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of study abroad counselling experience.
• Experience in immigration (study) counselling.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proficient in English and Hindi communication.

Responsibilities

• Guide and counsel students in shortlisting programs and institutions based on eligibility and career goals.
• Provide in-depth information to prospective learners via phone, email, chat and social media.
• Assist students with Filling online/paper applications and submitting to overseas universities.
• Proactively follow up on client inquiries by phone.
• Connect with new leads from marketing activities.
• Participate in education fairs, university visits and company seminars.
• Maintain efficient mail communication with students, universities and 3rd parties.
• Check application status and follow up with overseas universities for offers and tuition deposits.
• Guide students for visa applications and scholarship/loan processes.

Role & responsibilities

• Guide and counsel students in short listing the correct program and institution in accordance with the eligibility of the student keeping in mind their career plans and future immigration goals
• Providing in-depth information to prospective learners, this includes counselling through phone, email, chat and social media.
• Assisting the students with Filling online/paper applications and submitting the application to overseas Universities.
• Proactively follow up on client inquiries ( telephonic).
• Connect with new leads generated through various marketing activities.
• Active participation and contribution during education fairs, university visits and in-house seminars organized by the company.
• To have an efficient mail communication with students, universities and 3rd parties
• Checking status of applications after it has been processed and following up with overseas Universities for the Offer Letters to be issued and with students for payment of tuition fee deposits etc.
• Guiding the selected students for their Visa application
• Guiding the selected students for the Scholarship & Loan process Qualifications Looking for candidates with 1+Yrs of Experience in the study abroad sector, with experience in immigration (study) counselling. –

Good Communication and Interpersonal skills.

• Strong English & Hindi communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Efficient with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Candidates must have complete knowledge of Overseas Universities Admission Procedure
