Job summary

NEXUS CONSULTING SOLUTIONS is seeking a student counsellor to support academic journeys and customer success for learners on our online education platform. You will be the first point of contact for students and handle academic and administrative queries.

You will coordinate between students and university departments, track progress, and manage queries via calls, emails, and chats to help drive program completion and satisfaction. Strong CRM knowledge and weekend availability are valued.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate degree in management, commerce, journalism, computer applications, IT or related streams.
• Experience in student counselling / academic processes.
• Knowledge of CRM / ticketing systems.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Willingness to work on weekends on a rotational basis.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for students and address academic and administrative queries.
• Coordinate between students and university departments.
• Track students’ academic progress, submissions, and course requirements.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls, emails, and chats.
• Support students with semester and subject-related queries.
• Ensure timely completion of academic requirements.
• Drive student satisfaction, re-registration, and program completion.
• Identify and escalate priority issues while ensuring timely resolution.
• Maintain MIS, reports, and student records using Excel and PowerPoint.
• Work closely with internal teams, faculty, and SMEs.
