Job summary

Som Project is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer for the MES Project at Suratgarh/ Bikaner, Rajasthan. The role covers structural engineering, coordination, drawing review and site supervision to ensure execution per approved drawings and MES/CPWD standards.

The candidate should hold an M.Tech/M.E. in Structural Engineering with at least 5 years of experience and proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro and ETABS, and be willing to relocate to Suratgarh or Bikaner.

Qualifications

• M.Tech / M.E. in Structural Engineering – Mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering.
• Knowledge of MES / CPWD specifications and construction practices will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate structural drawings, designs, specifications, and technical documents.
• Supervise RCC and structural steel works at the project site.
• Review structural calculations, design drawings, reinforcement details, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, MES officials, project management, and site execution teams.
• Ensure execution of structural works as per approved drawings, specifications and MES/CPWD standards.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate with consultants for timely resolution.
• Inspect structural works and ensure quality compliance.
• Monitor progress and maintain project documentation.

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer for our MES Project at Suratgarh / Bikaner, Rajasthan. The candidate will be responsible for structural engineering, technical coordination, drawing review, site supervision, and ensuring execution of structural works as per approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate structural drawings, designs, specifications, and technical documents.
• Supervise and monitor RCC and structural steel works at the project site.
• Review structural calculations, design drawings, reinforcement details, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, MES officials, project management, and site execution teams.
• Ensure execution of structural works as per approved drawings, specifications and applicable MES / CPWD standards.
• Identify technical issues and coordinate with consultants for timely resolution.
• Inspect structural works and ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, Planning, Civil and Execution teams.
• Review material specifications, method statements and technical submissions.
• Monitor progress of structural works and support timely project completion.
• Maintain necessary technical records, inspection reports and project documentation.

Candidate Requirements

• M.Tech / M.E. in Structural Engineering – Mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Structural Engineering.
• Experience in RCC and structural steel construction.
• MES / Defence / Government Project experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MES / CPWD specifications and construction practices will be an advantage.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, ETABS or other relevant structural engineering software.
• Strong technical knowledge, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Candidate must be willing to relocate and work at Suratgarh / Bikaner, Rajasthan.

Preferred Experience

Candidates having experience in MES, Defence, CPWD, Government Infrastructure or large-scale construction projects will be preferred.
