The ideal candidate should possess strong business acumen, exceptional organisational skills, discretion, communication abilities and the maturity to handle sensitive information and high-level interactions.

Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Support to the MD
  • Act as the MD’s trusted partner in managing priorities, commitments and key business initiatives.
  • Support the MD in translating strategic priorities into actionable plans and ensuring timely execution.
  • Prepare briefing notes, presentations, reports, dashboards and decision‑support documents.
  • Research business issues, competitors, market developments and emerging opportunities as required.
  • Track key decisions and follow up with respective stakeholders to ensure closure.
2. Business Coordination & Execution
  • Coordinate with functional heads and senior leadership on behalf of the MD.
  • Monitor critical projects and initiatives and provide regular updates to the MD.
  • Maintain an action tracker for key decisions, commitments and deliverables.
  • Identify delays, bottlenecks and areas requiring management intervention.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional coordination to ensure alignment and accountability.
  • Manage the MD’s calendar based on business priorities rather than simply scheduling meetings.
  • Prepare agendas and relevant background material for leadership meetings.
  • Attend important meetings, record key decisions and circulate action points.
  • Follow up on commitments and ensure timely closure.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings involving senior stakeholders, clients, partners and other important relationships.
4. MIS, Reporting & Analytics
  • Develop and maintain management dashboards and periodic MIS reports.
  • Consolidate information from different functions and highlight key trends, risks and exceptions.
  • Assist the MD in reviewing business performance against agreed objectives and KPIs.
  • Provide concise, decision‑oriented summaries rather than merely presenting data.
5. Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as an important point of coordination between the MD and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Build strong working relationships with senior management, clients, business partners and other key stakeholders.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential matters with absolute discretion.
  • Represent the MD professionally and appropriately in interactions when required.
6. Special Projects
  • Take ownership of strategic and special projects assigned by the MD.
  • Conduct research, coordinate stakeholders, develop action plans and monitor execution.
  • Support initiatives related to business growth, process improvement, organisational development and operational excellence.
  • Step into ambiguous situations, structure the problem and drive it towards resolution.
7. Communication & Documentation
  • Draft and review high‑quality emails, letters, presentations, reports and management communications.
  • Ensure the MD is adequately briefed before important meetings and engagements.
  • Maintain accurate records of important decisions, discussions and commitments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen.
  • Exceptional organisation and time‑management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands and work under pressure.
  • High level of ownership, initiative and follow‑through.
  • Strong stakeholder‑management and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent PowerPoint, Excel and presentation skills.
  • Ability to synthesise complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • High integrity and absolute discretion with confidential information.
  • Mature, composed and professional approach.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Experience: 5–10 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Business Partner, Chief of Staff, Management Office or similar role.
  • Experience supporting a MD, CEO, Founder or CXO is highly desirable.
  • Candidates with exposure to strategy, business operations, project management or management consulting will be preferred.
  • Graduate degree required; MBA or equivalent qualification would be an advantage
