Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Limited in India seeks an Inventory/Logistics coordinator for gate-entry processing, material inspection, and SAP-based GRN postings. You will manage unloading, storage, FIFO practices, and ensure accuracy of records to support project delivery.

Responsibilities include maintaining storage conditions, optimizing space, and cooperating with audits and regulatory checks. Experience with SAP and knowledge of project materials, including power plant components, are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of gate-entry system and document checks.
• Proficiency in material receiving, inspections, and stocking.
• Experience with FIFO and storage control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verify receipts and inspections of materials.
• Post GRN in SAP and coordinate with suppliers.
• Maintain safe unloading and proper storage per guidelines.
• Ensure proper shelf life preservation and space utilization.
• Control of inventory via perpetual records and periodic counts.
• Assist audits and liaise with authorities as required.

Job description

• Receipt, Inspections, Rejections - Good Knowledge of process of Gate-Entry System, checking Documents and Materials as well as physical Inspection.
• Material Unloading & safety practices and storage, GRN Posting in SAP, User Inspections & Rejections in SAP.
• Debit/ Credit Note from supplier, Bills Process, Knowledge of transit Insurance, issuance e-Waybills, RGP & NRGP.
• Storages, Shelf life (FIFO), Preservations in Knowledge of Material storages & handlings, Storage and Consumption process for Shelf-Life items (manually as well as in SAPprocess), Preservations as per OEM specific material group guidelines.
• Issue process of Transfer postings and Consumptions in SAP, thorough knowledge of Space utilization, spares handling, Logical & Physical location mapping.
• Control of Inventory through Perpetual Inventory & Selective Stocktaking.
• Audit compliance of Internal & Externals and exposure of Liaising with legal and government authorities.
• In-depth knowledge of power plant components and project supplies, including their functionality and operational requirements.
• Comprehensive understanding of storage and preservation requirements for critical project supplies to ensure their longevity and optimal performance.
• Proficiency in planning and developing warehouse infrastructure and facilities to meet project and operational demands effectively.
• Capability to conduct thorough inspections of materials upon receipt and during periodic reviews, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
