Job summary

SRM Prime Hospital is seeking a store/inventory staff to manage hospital stores and stock for diagnostic kits, reagents, and medical consumables.   • 0 to 3 years of experience in hospital stores, pharmacy, or diagnostic inventory.
  • Basic computer/ERP literacy, attention to detail, and good communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Inventory Control: Receive, inspect, and store incoming diagnostic kits, reagents, and medical consumables.
  • Stock Monitoring: Track minimum and reorder levels to prevent stockouts of critical testing materials.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of stock received, issued, and consumed using registers or ERP software.
  • Compliance & Safety: Follow FIFO methods and safely dispose of expired or damaged items.
  • Coordination: Work with procurement, quality control, and laboratory staff to ensure smooth daily workflows.
