Job summary

Pump Academy in Mumbai is seeking a Stores & Inventory Executive/Officer to manage material receipt, storage, issue and inventory control for our Mumbai operations. You will coordinate with project, procurement and site teams to ensure accurate GRN and stock records.

Ideal candidates have 3–6 years of stores/inventory experience in engineering or EPC environments, with strong MS Excel and ERP knowledge, and good documentation and coordination skills.

Qualifications

  • Graduate / Diploma / B.Com / B.Sc. or equivalent qualification.
  • 3–6 years in stores/inventory/material management.
  • Experience in engineering/project/EPC/infrastructure environment preferred.
  • Good knowledge of GRN, stock registers, material inward/outward, inventory reconciliation and documentation.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/inventory systems.
  • Good coordination and documentation skills.
  • Candidates should be comfortable in a project-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day stores and inventory operations.
  • Receive materials and verify quantity, specifications, PO, invoice/challan, and other documents.
  • Prepare GRN, material receipt, issue and return records.
  • Ensure proper storage, identification, tagging and preservation of materials.
  • Maintain stock registers and inventory records in ERP/Excel.
  • Issue materials against authorized requests and maintain proper documentation.
  • Monitor minimum stock levels, critical spares and consumables.
  • Conduct periodic stock verification and reconciliation.
  • Identify shortages, excess stock, damaged materials and discrepancies.
  • Maintain records for tools, equipment, spares and project materials.
  • Coordinate with Procurement, Accounts, Project, Engineering and Site teams.
  • Support material movement between stores and project/site locations.
  • Maintain documentation for inward/outward movement of materials.
  • Support audits and provide required stores/inventory records.
  • Ensure proper housekeeping, material safety and systematic arrangement of stores.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Stores & Inventory Executive / Officer for our Mumbai operations. The role will be responsible for material receipt, storage, issue, inventory control, stock reconciliation, documentation, and coordination with project, procurement and site teams.

Candidates with stores experience in engineering, EPC, infrastructure, water/wastewater, electrical, mechanical, construction, or project-based organizations will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle day-to-day stores and inventory operations.

Candidate Requirements
  • Qualification: Graduate / Diploma / B.Com / B.Sc. / relevant technical qualification.
  • Experience: Preferably 3-6 years in stores, inventory or material management.
  • Experience in an engineering/project/EPC/infrastructure environment is preferred.
  • Good knowledge of GRN, stock registers, material inward/outward, inventory reconciliation and documentation.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/inventory systems.
  • Good coordination and documentation skills.
  • Candidates should be comfortable working in a project-oriented and operational environment.
