Job summary

Aurum Facility Management Private Limited, Navi Mumbai, is seeking an experienced Store Manager to drive store sales, oversee inventory, and lead a sales team. You will ensure superior customer service, resolve escalations, and manage daily store operations.

The role requires 8–10 years in store/inventory management, strong sales acumen, and hands-on experience with ERP/POS systems. You will oversee stock audits, SOP adherence, and team coaching to achieve targets.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales in line with monthly and annual targets.
• Ensure superior customer service and resolve customer queries or escalations effectively.
• Guide and motivate the sales team to achieve conversion and revenue goals.
• Monitor daily sales performance, footfall, and conversion ratios.
• Implement promotional activities and ensure proper in-store execution.
• Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures.
• Ensure accurate stock receipt, storage, and issuance of materials/products.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock ageing, and replenishment planning.
• Conduct regular stock audits and ensure variance control.
• Maintain proper documentation for inward/outward movement of stock.
• Supervise and train sales executives, store assistants, and support staff.
• Prepare duty rosters and manage attendance.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching.
• Ensure discipline, grooming standards, and adherence to company policies.
• Monitor daily cash, billing, and reconciliation processes.
• Prepare and review sales and inventory MIS reports.
• Control operational costs and prevent pilferage or losses.
• Coordinate with accounts for billing, invoicing, and reconciliations.
• Ensure adherence to company SOPs, audit requirements, and statutory norms.
• Maintain store safety, cleanliness, and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal controls.

Key Skills/Experience the Candidate Should Have -

Technical (T) and Non-Technical (NT):-

• 8–10 years of experience in:
• Store / inventory management
• Prior experience as a Store Manager or Senior Store Executive
• Strong sales acumen and customer-handling skills
• Hands-on experience in inventory control and store audits
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, POS systems, and ERP software
