Responsibilities

• Receive and verify construction materials (cement, steel, sand, tiles, electrical, plumbing items).

• Ensure proper storage to prevent damage, theft, or wastage.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and inform procurement for replenishment.
• Maintain material consumption records and track usage.
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification.
• Handle GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and documentation.
• Maintain records of tools, machinery, and equipment.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety standards in the store area.

Job Summary:

The Store Keeper is responsible for managing construction materials, tools, and equipment at the project site. The role ensures proper storage, stock tracking, and timely availability of materials required for construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive and verify construction materials (cement, steel, sand, tiles, electrical, plumbing items, etc.)

Maintain accurate stock registers (inward/outward entries)

Issue materials to site engineers/contractors as per approved requests

Ensure proper storage to prevent damage, theft, or wastage
