Job summary

CLF Projects Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a responsible Store Keeper at our Ghorpadi, Pune project location. You will manage day-to-day store operations, handle material inward/outward, maintain GRN records, and coordinate with site and purchase teams to ensure accurate stock and documentation.

Candidate should have 2+ years of experience in store/inventory management, preferably with Railway, Infrastructure or EPC projects. Diploma or Graduate in a relevant field is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Store/Inventory Management.
• Railway Projects experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store operations at the project/site location.
• Receive materials from suppliers and verify quantity, specifications, and documents.
• Prepare and maintain Material Inward/GRN records and other store documentation.
• Issue materials to site teams against approved material requisitions.
• Maintain records of material inward, outward, stock, and balance quantities.
• Conduct regular stock verification and reconcile with records.
• Ensure proper storage and safe handling of materials.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Accounts, Project, and Site teams on material requirements.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and report shortages.
• Maintain records of tools, equipment, consumables, and project materials.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports.
• Track material consumption and discrepancies.
• Document transfers between locations/sites.
• Assist during stock audits and inspections.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety in store area.
• Follow procedures for material handling and documentation.
• Perform other store-related duties as assigned.

About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and organized Store Keeper to manage day-to-day store operations at our railway project location in Ghorpadi, Pune. The ideal candidate should have experience in handling construction/project materials, maintaining stock records, material inward and outward, and coordinating with site and purchase teams.

Railway project experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day store operations at the project/site location.
• Receive materials from suppliers and verify quantity, specifications, and supporting documents.
• Prepare and maintain Material Inward/GRN records and other store documentation.
• Issue materials to site teams against approved material requisitions.
• Maintain accurate records of material inward, outward, stock, and balance quantities.
• Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile physical stock with records.
• Maintain proper storage and identification of materials to prevent damage, loss, or wastage.
• Coordinate with the Purchase, Accounts, Project, and Site teams regarding material requirements.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and inform the concerned department about material shortages or requirements.
• Maintain proper records of tools, equipment, consumables, and project materials.
• Ensure materials are stored safely and systematically as per their nature and requirements.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly stock reports as required.
• Track material consumption and identify discrepancies in stock.
• Maintain proper documentation of material transfers between locations/sites.
• Assist during internal and external stock audits and inspections.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safety within the store area.
• Follow company procedures for material handling, storage, and documentation.
• Perform other store-related duties assigned by the Project Manager or reporting manager.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of store and inventory management.
• Experience handling construction/project materials.
• Knowledge of material inward and outward processes.
• Good understanding of stock registers, material requisitions, and inventory records.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Good record‑keeping and documentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple materials and stock records efficiently.
• Knowledge of construction/railway project materials will be an advantage.

Qualification

Diploma or Graduate in a relevant field.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Store / Inventory Management.
• Experience in Railway Projects is preferred.
• Candidates with experience in construction, infrastructure, or EPC project stores will be preferred.
