The Store Keeper will be responsible for managing hospital store activities, including material receipt, issue, inventory records, stock verification, storage discipline, and coordination with purchase, pharmacy, accounts, and user departments at Rainbow Super Speciality Hospital, Narnaul.
Responsibilities
- Receive, verify, store, and issue hospital materials, consumables, equipment items, and supplies.
- Check invoices, delivery challans, purchase orders, quantity, batch number, and expiry details during receipt.
- Maintain stock registers, GRN entries, issue slips, material records, and inventory software entries.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, segregation, and traceability of materials.
- Monitor stock levels, reorder points, shortages, expiry dates, and non-moving inventory.
- Coordinate with purchase, pharmacy, accounts, nursing, OT, ICU, laboratory, and hospital departments.
- Issue materials to departments as per approved indent and documentation process.
- Support physical stock verification, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities.
- Report stock mismatch, damaged goods, shortages, or documentation errors to seniors promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper arrangement of store areas.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO methods for material issue wherever applicable.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports and consumption summaries.
- Support vendor coordination for material receipt, replacement, and return follow-up.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in inventory and purchase-related records.
- Ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant hospital store operations.
Qualifications
- Graduate qualification.
- 1-2 years of experience in hospital store management or related field.
- Strong inventory accuracy and documentation discipline.
- Knowledge of hospital material handling and FIFO/FEFO methods.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
