Job summary

Sunny Boats in India is seeking a reliable Storekeeper to manage day-to-day store operations. You will receive, inspect, store, issue, and dispatch materials while keeping accurate inventory records to support production.

The role requires coordinating with Purchase, Production, Quality, Maintenance and Accounts teams, maintaining safe storage, labeling, and documentation, and ensuring timely material availability for boat building.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in storekeeping or inventory management.
• Basic knowledge of inventory software and MS Office.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials when required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in storekeeping or warehouse management.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify all incoming materials against purchase orders, specs and delivery documents.
• Store, label, and maintain boat manufacturing materials, consumables, tools, spares and equipment.
• Issue materials to production against authorized material requisitions.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock verification.
• Ensure store safety, cleanliness, proper handling, and prevention of damage or loss.
• Coordinate with procurement and production teams for inventory requirements.
• Maintain documentation for material receipts, issues and returns.

We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Storekeeper to manage the day-to-day store operations of our boat manufacturing Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. The Storekeeper will ensure timely availability of materials for production, proper material handling, stock control, and safe and systematic storage of boat-building materials, consumables, tools, spares, and equipment. The role also requires close coordination with the Purchase, Production, Quality, Maintenance and Accounts teams to ensure smooth and uninterrupted manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• 1. Receive and verify all incoming materials against purchase orders, specifications, and delivery documents.
• 2. Properly store, label, and maintain boat manufacturing materials, consumables, tools, spares, and equipment.
• 3. Issue materials to production against authorized material requisitions.
• 4. Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical stock verification.
• 5. Ensure store safety, cleanliness, proper material handling, and prevention of damage or loss.
• 6. Coordinate with procurement and production teams for inventory requirements.
• 7. Maintain proper documentation for material receipts, issues, returns etc.

Requirements:

• 1. Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role.
• 2. Basic knowledge of inventory software and MS Office.
