Job summary

Fun Block in Felix plaza is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily retail, leisure, and hospitality activities, develop and execute sales strategies to meet Centre targets, and ensure a fun, safe, and clean environment for guests and team members.

The role requires inspiring and coaching staff, communicating corporate initiatives, managing inventory and events, and using KPIs to drive continuous improvement and exceptional customer satisfaction at the centre.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in retail, leisure, or hospitality with a leadership role.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to manage guest relations.
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop a team.
• Experience managing operations, inventory, and events.

Responsibilities

Role & responsibilities Operations Management:

• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed Centre targets, driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
• Maintain a fun, safe, and clean environment for both team members and guests, ensuring the Centre adheres to all required compliance and safety standards as outlined in the FUN BLOCK Safety Standards.
• Ensure that all Marketing, Operational, Employee Motivation, and other Corporate Office initiatives are clearly communicated, understood, and effectively executed within Fun Block.
• Stay thoroughly informed about the products or services offered, enabling you to effectively guide both staff and customers.
• Interact with internal teams to discuss strategies, to drive business objectives.
• Inspire and motivate the team to achieve sales targets while maintaining high morale and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Utilize data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track Centre and staff performance, ensuring continuous improvement and optimal results.
• Lead the daily operations of Fun Block by consistently delivering remarkable customer satisfaction and adhering to all company policies and operational procedures.

Customer Relationship Management:

• Handling the guest complaints and resolving them professionally in an efficient and prompt manner or escalating it.
• Captivate both children and adults by creating an exceptional Centre setup and presenting engaging educational activities. Build strong guest relationships and promote your center as an elite Fun Block destination, ensuring an unforgettable experience for all visitors.

People Management:

• Motivate, mentor, and collaborate with the team members by exemplifying the significance of the guest experience. Set clear expectations, align individual goals with our company's mission and values, and foster a culture of excellence.
• Coach, mentor, and train staff in conducting events for the guests (eg: Parties, Bday Parties, destination events etc), sales techniques, customer service best practices, and build comprehensive product knowledge to enhance their skills and performance time to time.

Inventory Management:

• Ensure availability of all consumables, any other item needed for Operations.
• Implement internal controls and record inventories.

Preferred candidate profile

• 5+ years of retail, leisure, or hospitality experience, including management experience.
• Proven customer service focus and a comprehensive understanding of customer service principles
• Competent operational skills in a customer-service environment
• Experience in a leadership position exemplifying interpersonal skills and the ability to coach, mentor, problem solve and build teams.
• Proven commercial and financial management skills including analyzing financial reports and effective cost control.
• Experience handling and managing confidential and sensitive information.
• Having experience in children education/enrichment is a plus Must LOVE interacting with children and love to have FUN!
