Job summary

HM Leisure in Bengaluru is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, drive sales, and uphold brand standards across our gaming and entertainment zones.

This hands-on role focuses on people management, customer service, and operational excellence, with responsibilities including supervising staff, managing shifts, stock, and POS operations while ensuring a safe, welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline; preferred: Retail Management, Hospitality, or Business.
• 2–5 years of experience in retail, QSR, gaming zones, or customer-centric environments.
• Prior experience as a Team Leader, Floor Supervisor, or Shift In-Charge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations under Store Manager.
• Lead floor staff, manage shifts, and track performance.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve queries promptly.
• Maintain ambience, safety, and efficiency of gaming and entertainment zones.
• Supervise cash handling, billing, and POS for accuracy.
• Drive sales and strategies to achieve targets.
• Coordinate with vendors for stock replenishments.
• Assist with training, mentoring, and onboarding new team members.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in daily operations, drive sales, ensure smooth store functioning, and uphold our brand standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Store Manager in overseeing day-to-day store operations.
• Lead and motivate floor staff, manage shift allocations, and track team performance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing and resolving queries promptly.
• Maintain the ambience, safety, and operational efficiency of the gaming and entertainment zones.
• Supervise cash handling, billing counters, and POS operations to ensure accuracy.
• Drive sales performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors for timely replenishments.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and hygiene standards across the store.
• Assist with training, mentoring, and onboarding of new team members.
