Responsibilities

  • Manage daily stock inward and outward activities.
  • Receive materials and verify quantity, quality, and documents against purchase orders/invoices.
  • Maintain accurate stock records in ERP/software and MS Excel.
  • Conduct daily/weekly/monthly physical stock verification and reconciliation.
  • Identify and report stock shortages, excess, damages, and discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper stacking, labeling, storage, and handling of materials.
  • Monitor minimum stock levels and inform the purchase team about replenishment requirements.
  • Maintain FIFO practices wherever applicable.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management.
  • Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Accounts, Warehouse, and Logistics teams.
  • Ensure proper documentation for GRN, invoices, delivery challans, stock transfers, and dispatches.
  • Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and damaged stock and report the same.
  • Support internal and external stock audits.
  • Ensure the warehouse/store area is clean, organized, and safe.
  • Supervise loading and unloading activities and ensure materials are handled safely.
  • Maintain proper control over stock to minimize loss, damage, and pilferage.
