Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate (minimum) with extensive field experience in project stores.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment/materials (cables, panels, transformers, trays, dyes).
• Experience with ERP/SAP stock transactions (GRN, issue, returns) and MS Excel record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming materials against PO/delivery challan and issue GRN/MIR.
• Store materials systematically with proper binning, preservation and safety.
• Issue materials to site against approved indents; maintain issue slips and records.
• Maintain stock ledgers in ERP/SAP and MS Excel; conduct periodic stock verification.
• Monitor stock levels and raise timely requisitions; follow up on deliveries.
• Handle local-market purchases; manage local vendors and transporters.
• Control gate movement, security, housekeeping and fire safety in the store; manage scrap and MIS.

Reporting To PROJECT MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive and inspect incoming materials against PO/delivery challan – check quantity, condition, make and test certificates – and issue GRN/MIR.
• Store materials systematically (cable drums, panels, transformers, DG parts, trays, luminaires) with proper binning, preservation and safety.
• Issue materials to site only against approved indents/requisitions; maintain issue slips, returns and subcontractor-issued material records.
• Maintain accurate stock and ledger records in ERP/SAP and MS Excel; conduct periodic stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Monitor minimum stock levels and raise timely requisitions to purchase; follow up on pending deliveries.
• Handle local-market purchases within approved limits; manage local vendors and transporters.
• Control gate movement, security, housekeeping and fire safety in the store; manage scrap and surplus; submit stock and consumption MIS.
