Job summary

AgroStar in India seeks a Store Expansion Lead to identify new markets, shortlist locations, and manage end-to-end store launches. You will coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Branding, and other teams to ensure readiness and timely openings.

This role requires extensive travel, strong stakeholder management, and a grassroots mindset to drive impact in agriculture. You will build dashboards and provide leadership with progress updates on expansions.

Qualifications

• Freshers or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in sales, business development, retail, or field operations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively for market visits.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end store expansion, from identifying new markets and locations to successful store launch.
• Conduct market and location feasibility assessments, evaluating farmer potential, competition, accessibility, rentals, and overall business viability.
• Build and manage a pipeline of potential locations, working with internal stakeholders to evaluate, shortlist, and finalize sites.
• Own store launch execution, coordinating with Operations, Procurement, Finance, People Practices, Branding, Projects, and other teams to ensure timely readiness.
• Manage landlords, vendors, contractors, and local stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of commercial and operational requirements.
• Prepare and track business cases, expansion costs, timelines, and budgets, ensuring launches are delivered within approved parameters.
• Partner with the Store Operations team during the initial post‑launch phase to resolve operational gaps and set stores up for successful performance.
• Maintain expansion dashboards and regular reporting, proactively highlighting progress, risks, delays, and key decisions required by leadership.
